Drop in nature crafts with artist Josie Brookes

Drop in to learn all about local wildlife and create your own illustrated paper bird. Find out more about what birds eat and then create a special dinner for your bird.

This activity is inspired by the Tyne Derwent Way, which is a nine-mile green corridor that connects natural green space and important cultural and heritage sites all the way from St Mary's Heritage Centre in Gateshead to Gibside. The Tyne Derwent Way is home to a wealth of wildlife, including many important bird species. Come along to find out more about local nature and the project, which launched in April.

The activity is running from 10.30am-12.30pm and 1.30pm-3.30pm and will take about 20 minutes.

Venue will be confirmed asap.
