Guided Night Walk

Friday 25 October 2024
Time: 19:30
20:30
Gateshead Riverside Park

Experience Gateshead in a new light on our Guided Night Walks. These monthly, circular, evening explorations guided by Wild Intrigue will take you through Gateshead Riverside Park and along the Quayside, looking out onto the River Tyne.

Guided Night Walk

Throughout the walk we will listen and look out for any chance nocturnal wildlife encounters, such as wading birds, which bring their wild soundscape to the city at night. This is a lovely opportunity to discover the intersections where natural and urban environments meet, learn how this influences the natural rhythms of wildlife, and to appreciate the nightscape alongside a group of like-minded people as the landscape becomes illuminated by night.

Whether you are a confident night wanderer or would like the company of a group to discover natural spaces after dark, we invite you to join us for our Guided Night Walks!

These circular walks will begin and end by the Railway Quarter. We will meet at 7.30pm in the open area opposite Kenilworth House on High Level Road. The exact meeting point can be found on What3Words.

This is a paid for event and will cost up to £12 per person. See our tiered pricing guide for details.
