MixnMatch - help decide what we do along the Tyne Derwent Way!

This month, we have an important job for you. Vote on what you think we should do on the Tyne Derwent Way over the next few months!

We have a list of activities that we could run alongside communities, broadly grouped into three categories: nature, culture and heritage (although you'll notice that nothing fits perfectly into just one of these categories!). We'd love to know what you think we should do. For the month of July we'll be asking our newsletter subscribers, volunteers, visitors and followers to vote.

You can vote online (opens new window) (it's quick and easy), or vote in person at St Mary's on a Wednesday or the Staiths Space (Tyne Derwent Way at Dunston Staiths) on a Thursday during opening times.

The option from each category with the most votes will then be delivered between now and the end of this financial year (March 2026). 

We'll announce the winner at the end of this month. 

MixnMatch is a follow-up to last year's Pick'n'Mix, which brought you three fantastic projects on the Tyne Derwent Way: Telling Tales, our local heritage podcast; 48 things to do along the Tyne Derwent Way, our fabulous activity book; and Tyne Derwent Way in a Box, a creative project that brought together neurodiverse young people and professional artists.
