St Mary's by the Tyne
Once Gateshead's Parish Church, St Mary's is full of history and now hosts a variety of events.
St Mary's will be open from 10am to 2pm, so come in and discover the fascinating history of this beautiful Grade I listed building. Take a stroll around the graveyard and learn about some of the people of Gateshead who are buried here.
Suitable for all, the building is fully accessible. You can explore the graveyard, but please note it has slightly uneven ground and a couple of steps.
