We're partnering with the National Trust festival of Blossom this summer, and during Tuesdays in August, 11am - 2pm, they'll be running free drop-by activities for all the family - think crafts, a pop-up reading nook and more. Funded by the People's Postcode Lottery.
We'll also be opening the bottom deck of Dunston Staiths, where you can see the Tyne from a different angle.*
We'll be opening our Staiths Space on Tuesdays at this time, too, where you can play our brand new boardgame Bottles, Coal and Iron, see an exhibition about its making, and use the toilet. This will also be our 'rainy day' option for the Blossom crafts in case of inclement weather!
*this is dependent on good weather! if you'd like to go on the Staiths, please wear sensible shoes. It's also full accessible for those on wheels.
Location - Green Space in front of the West End of Dunston Staiths. What three words = improving.such.often plus bottom deck of Dunston Staiths plus Staiths Space.
All welcome - activities suitable for children and families, although under 12s must be supervised by an adult.
