Turn up and Do: Saturday Green Team

In this session, we'll be doing a litter pick and participating in this year's RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. The Big Garden Birdwatch is the world's largest wildlife survey. Last year over 600,000 people took part! Binoculars and litter picking equipment will be provided.

Our Saturday Green Team usually meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:45am, for a 10 o'clock start (check our social media to see where to meet). We finish at 12 noon. It's great way to spend time outdoors, enjoy light exercise, and meet others who are eager to make a positive impact on Gateshead's local green spaces, just like you.

From trimming overhanging tree branches to clearing pathways, there's a task for everyone. Enjoy the outdoors while planting seasonal beauties and keeping the park litter-free. Let's make our park a better place together!
