Turn up and Do: Saturday Green Team

This session will be an opportunity to get involved with scrub management work, creating a more open mosaic of habitats to support greater biodiversity in our park. There will be bramble pruning, removal of small trees and creating dead hedging from the cut materials. All equipment is provided.

Our Saturday Green Team usually meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9:45am, for a 10 o'clock start (check our social media to see where to meet). We finish at 12 noon. It's great way to spend time outdoors, enjoy light exercise, and meet others who are eager to make a positive impact on Gateshead's local green spaces, just like you.

From trimming overhanging tree branches to clearing pathways, there's a task for everyone. Enjoy the outdoors while planting seasonal beauties and keeping the park litter-free. Let's make our park a better place together!
