Puppet making with Liv Hunt
Taking inspiration from folk tales and historical characters from Gateshead, we'll bring them to life through puppetry and storytelling! Liv will guide you through the process of making your own shadow-puppet to take away with you.
Join us in our new community space for arts workshops reflecting on the amazing Tyne Derwent Way on the doorstep.
Each Thursday afternoon and Saturday from the end of January until March will see a different artist join us for a new free creative activity suitable for all. All welcome - activities suitable for children, although under 12s must be supervised by an adult.
This week we're joined by Liv Hunt. Learn how to make a puppet inspired by the people, nature and community around Dunston Staiths. Taking inspiration from folk tales and historical characters from Gateshead, we'll bring them to life through puppetry and storytelling! Liv will guide you through the process of making your own shadow-puppet to take away with you.
