A Magical Nature Reset for Families with Children Aged 8 plus.

Looking for a screen-free, soul-nourishing morning with your family? Join us for Blossom Bathing / Nature Reset — a unique and uplifting experience inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku (Forest Bathing).

What to expect:

  • a gentle, family-friendly walk through the beautiful Gateshead Riverside Park
  • mindful pauses and sensory activities to connect with nature and each other
  • a hands-on woodland craft activity using natural materials to take home
  • time to chill in hammocks and soak up the forest calm
  • a peaceful tea circle with wild foraged teas and seasonal homemade treats*

Starting and ending at Stomping Grounds Forest School, this event offers the perfect mix of play, presence, and peace — ideal for families who want to slow down, laugh together, and make lasting memories in nature.

No experience needed — just bring your curiosity, a comfy pair of shoes, and a sense of adventure!

Spaces are FREE but limited to 12 places.

*If you have any dietary requirements, food allergies or intolerances please get in touch with our guide Kirstie, from Through the Trees, (email: kirstie@throughthetrees.org.uk or mobile: 07980 880 596) prior to the event so she can confirm if she can cater for your needs. Items are prepared by Through the Trees in a home kitchen, registered as a food business with a 5 star hygiene rating.
